Abbie McClung, MBA, QMHA-I
Director of Communications
Abbie McClung returned to KBBH in 2017 focused on applying her corporate communications and small business management successes to non-profit, purpose-driven work. Prior to specializing in marketing, communications, and public relations, she served KBBH for five years in a supervisory prevention role. Abbie brings her unique blend of both operational and clinical aptitude to new prevention, education, and outreach efforts at KBBH. With a steadfast commitment to destigmatizing mental health care and addiction treatment, she sees every internal and external communication as an invitation to center behavioral healthcare as the critical counterpart to physical healthcare.
Under Abbie’s strategic approach to communications, KBBH aims to normalize conversations about behavioral health and ensure that every individual feels comfortable seeking help and is aware of the many resources that can support efforts to build a happier and more fulfilling life. A skilled writer, speaker, and facilitator in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Abbie centers relationships, authenticity, and crucial conversations. In her free time, you’ll find her advocating for children, adults, and families navigating the challenges of Type 1 Diabetes and talking to anyone about anything.
